Overview:

Create a life-changing experience for an aspiring health care professional by allowing a MERIT Scholar to shadow you anytime you have available

This past summer, 40 Scholars took part in our clinical internship and will be shadowing for 3 hours a day from Monday-Thursday. If there are at least three days in which you will be available, click the link above!

MERIT will make the process clear and easy. Other than a brief evaluation survey, there is no extra work involved. We take care of all compliance paperwork, HIPAA training, scheduling, and logistics. All we need to know is your availability.

Shadowing Dates and Structure:

  • July 10th - August 11th

  • Monday - Thursday (AM: 9 am - 12 pm)

Every time I work with MERIT I'm reminded why I chose this field. The MERIT students' eyes light up with every interaction they have, every procedure they observe. The students are friendly, professional, and enthusiastic---they give me the greatest hope for the future of medicine.
